A new version of Windows Azure SDK for .NET is now available for download, for all those who are looking to implement simple web applications using ASP.NET MVC with support for creating, editing, and listing to-do items from a database.

The new release is available for manual download and installation of SDKs, basic tools, and extended tools for VS 2010 SP1 and VS 2012 RC.

The SDK comes with support for Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2, as well as for the newly launched Windows 8 Release Preview and for Windows Server 2012 RC.

The SDK requires for other developer tools and frameworks to be installed on the target machine as well, including Visual Studio (2010 or 2012).

To learn specific details on the manual installation process of the SDK, or on its requirements, you should go to Microsoft’s website.
