14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has just rolled out a brand new theme for the latest versions of Windows currently on the market, giving users the chance to customize their desktops with some high-quality Sardinia wallpapers.
Just as expected, the theme is specifically aimed at Windows 8 users, but it can also be installed on Windows 7 and RT platforms, such as Microsoft’s very own Surface RT.
“Photographer Giovanni Cultrera captures the stark yet lush beauty of Sardinia and its surrounding islands in these gorgeous images of granite beaches and shimmering sunsets,” Microsoft says in the description of the theme.
It packs a total of 13 desktop backgrounds, all of which can fit most screen resolutions on the market, so they should look good regardless of whether you’re using Windows 8 on a desktop computer or on a tablet.
