Get the desktop background used by Microsoft in the preview version of Windows 8.1

Microsoft used both TechEd and Computex 2013 conferences to provide us with more details about Windows 8.1, including some new videos showing the Start button and the desktop of the new OS.

As far as the latter is concerned, Microsoft used a different wallpaper as compared to the one we’ve seen in Windows 8, but it’s not yet clear if the same photo could be made available in the public beta or not.

Still, we’ve searched the web and found the wallpaper in HD resolution, so simply click the thumbnail above to load the full version.

Keep in mind that Windows 8.1 Preview will officially go live on June 26 during the BUILD developer conference, so more details concerning not only the desktop wallpaper are expected to be unveiled in just a couple of weeks.
