A new experimental version has emerged for Dropbox, incrementing the build number to 2.5.24. The list of changes is short, but it comprises a new feature and announces some improvements.

The developer informs that the 2.5 series of Dropbox will bring to the table a redesigned Setup Wizard and a new installer for Windows operating system.

Testing the new setup wizard can be done by unlinking Dropbox from the current account and start the re-link process again. Mind that with very large folders this process can be highly time consuming and the use of smaller directories is advisable.

Also new in this revision is the ability to pause the synchronization operation straight from the tray popup menu.

As far as improvements go, the developer announced that the user interface for selective sync should now be more responsive.
