Splash screen and a better looking progress bar for Windows users

Dropbox released a new build for the Experimental version (1.3.30). There are very few notable changes available, most of them relating to its aesthetics on Windows.

As such, Windows users should notice a splash screen when starting Dropbox and improved looks as far as the progress bar is concerned.

The development team also worked to improve the quota handling. Various other minor adjustments are also available in the new revision.

Another novelty available for the service is the increment of the free space offered for inviting your friends to use Dropbox. As announced on the official blog, the new amount of space currently offered through referral is 500MB per invite, instead of 250MB.

Both you and your friend get the bytes. If you have no one to invite you to the service here’s my referral link to get you started with 2.5GB of free space.
