Developer changes colors and icons in the alert system

The latest revision for the experimental version of Dropbox received an update today. There are few modifications and they’re nothing major, but they count for increasing overall usability of the application.

Build 2.1.1.19 of the synchronization client no longer has a red notification badge because it has been replaced by a yellow bell. Also, the yellow caution indicator has been switched with a red “X”.

These modifications have been operated in order to better convey the importance of the alerts issued.

This revision is actually a release candidate for the next stable build of the Dropbox client, which should emerge by the end of the week, if no showstoppers occur.

As is the case most of the times, the developer announced that other, minor issues have been addressed, although there are no specifics available.
