14 DAY TRIAL // The beta for version 6 of ESET’s line of products has been launched a very short while ago. Features such as Personal Firewall and Parental Control are available in Smart Security 6 beta only, while Idle-State Scanning and Scan While Downloading Files are present in Nod32 Antivirus as well.
Another important feature, Anti-Theft, is currently integrated in the Antivirus but its final version will be part of Smart Security 6 suite only. The component is designed to automatically monitor activity on camera-enabled laptops and deliver information such as location (based on visible Wi-Fi networks map) and even watch the thief via the built-in webcam.
As an incentive to test the new feature the company offers 100 full licenses per week for ESET Smart Security 6 until June 17 to beta testers activating Anti-Theft on their computer/laptop. Each license is valid for one year.
