14 DAY TRIAL // Emsisoft released a new build for their portable malware scanner, Emergency Kit. The latest revision brings to the table a small set of minor modifications designed to improve the functionality of the suite.
First off, in Emergency Kit 2.0.0.8 the scanner window no longer pops up on each detected item and instead it is displayed when the entire procedure is complete. Thus you no longer have to deal with the continuous display of the notification.
Also fixed is the issue with the invalid license error message during an update. On the same note, a minor bug in warning message about missing updates has been eliminated.
Emsisoft Emergency Kit integrates two scanning engines and can be deployed from portable storage devices such as USB disks. You can download it from here.
