According to the official release notes published by Evernote Corporation, the new build packs numerous bug fixes, which means that users should expect greatly improved performance after deploying the update.
“Evernote is an easy-to-use, free app that helps you remember everything across all of your devices. You can create a plaintext note on your Windows 8 tablet, and then open it on your smartphone or any other devices you use,” the app description reads.
Of course, it continues to work like a charm on both Windows 8 and Windows RT and is available to everyone with a freeware license.
