The latest update for Evernote, the popular note-taking tool for both desktop and mobile platforms, increases functionality and usability of the program. It’s a short list of changes but the entries and most of them refer to fixes and improvements.

Revision 5.0.1.1174 of the Windows application integrates the ability to select multiple tags using the Ctrl+click shortcut.

Apart from this, the developer focused on fixing various issues affecting the usability of the application. The problem with notelinks across different notebooks has been repaired along with the one touching on downsyncing Shortcuts.

Additional bug fixes have been implemented as well, although there are no specific details available.

Furthermore, he “Click to add tag” command now works by clicking only once.

The developer also announced improvements for the keyboard entry for Jump to Tags feature and visual enhancements for high DPI screens.
