Microsoft is undoubtedly an attractive company for all young talents who want to build a career in the technology industry and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg knows it very well.

Zuckerberg said in a recent interview that he would have worked for Microsoft if Facebook had failed which, to be honest, could have made the Redmond-based company an even stronger rival for the likes of Google and Apple.

“I probably would have taken an engineering job,” he said. “[I've] always had a lot of respect for Microsoft. A lot of people from Harvard went to work there.”

Just like Bill Gates, Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard, his goal being to focus exclusively on his newly-created social network.

“My life is a long history of people thinking I would drop out of school long before I did,” he said.

“I started building Facebook because I wanted it at college, which is one of the ironies, since I then left college,” Zuckerberg concluded.
