Facebook has landed in the Windows Store together with the new Windows 8.1, but the developing team behind the project keeps improving the app on a regular basis.

A new minor update was officially released this morning, so users are all recommended to launch the Store and get the new version as soon as possible.

While there are no details on this particular release, the new build most likely tries to fix bugs and other performance issues found on either Windows 8.1 or Windows RT 8.1, which means that improved experience should be provided after updating.

Keep in mind that Windows 8.1 automatically updates all apps by default, so in case you haven’t disabled this option, the new version should already be there on your device.
