The current update for FileZilla Client comes a little over a week after the developer released the stable version 3.6 of the application. It addresses a couple of issues, but it also includes improvements.

The two fixes in this release refer to trouble with TLS cipher selection; a bugfix for GnuTLS has also been released. On the same note, users that experienced crashes when exiting the application, should no longer be troubled by such actions.

Starting this revision, there is a log message for servers that are not using UTF-8. Furthermore, the improvements available in this release touch on performance and memory usage getting file types. Another entry in the list notes that the developer improved formatting of transfer speeds.

FileZilla Client is available for download for WindowsMac and Linux.
