Mozilla has already released a new beta version of Firefox

Mozilla yesterday rolled out the new Firefox 29 with Australis, but the company moved very fast to debut a new beta build of the upcoming stable release expected to see daylight in approximately 6 weeks.

Unfortunately for those who do not like the Australis interface, it's still there in version 30 beta 1, which means that Mozilla isn't thinking about removing it and going back to the classic interface.

On the other hand, this new beta does come with a number of improvements supposed to enhance the overall performance with Firefox, but no big changes are made for the time being.

The change log doesn't say too much to the average Joe, as it only includes technical details of what's new in this version, but you can still have a look on it if you're interested.

Of course, Mozilla Firefox 30 beta 1 is available on all supported platforms out there, including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X, so use the download links below to give it a try right now and see what's new. Keep in mind, however, that it's still part of the beta development channel, so a number of issues could still exist and thus lead to random bugs or crashes when loading specific bugs.
