The web developer tools in Firefox Aurora are not exactly news, but Mozilla just came up with a video to further draw attention on the flexibility of the Page Inspector.

The clip is an introductory tutorial for using the Page Inspector and its abilities to check page elements. The tool is pretty intuitive and element selection is done in an elegant way. HTML and Style features can be easily uncovered. You can navigate the entire document or change attributes by simply double clicking them.

Scratchpad, the built-in code editor, is also described. It allows you to select a portion of the code and then run, inspect or display it. Considering the new tools, we may see a shift from Google Chrome to Firefox as far as web developers are concerned.

The new set of developer tools is set for final release in early 2012 (January 31).
