Brings to the table support for POST media requests

For those that missed it, FlashGot moved today from release candidate to the stable version 1.3.8. Actually, no sooner did the application hit the first release candidate that it went stable.

The developer, who also maintains and improves NoScript extension for Mozilla-based browsers, published today the changes for the RC1 and then released the stable build for version 1.3.8.

Among the modifications, there is support for POST media requests for stream capturing. This release also introduces experimental support for “arcpass” and “httpauth” JDownloader parameters; at the moment these are not exposed by any public JDownloader build.

FlashGot works as an add-on for Mozilla Firefox (Thunderbird email client is also supported) and is designed to help you transform every supported download manager (and the list is pretty large for all major operating systems – Windows, Linux and Mac) into a download tool for Mozilla’s web browser.
