Flipboard has only recently launched on Windows 8.1, but the developing team has been hard at work to improve the built-in features and release a new version of the app.

Today, an improved build showed up in the store, so in case you’re already running Windows 8.1 and you previously installed Flipboard, the update should be automatically downloaded and installed on your device, regardless of whether you are using a desktop or a tablet.

No details have been provided on this new version, which most likely means that the update is focused on fixing bugs and performance issues, but users are anyway recommended to update as soon as possible.

Of course, the new version comes with the same rich feature package, so go ahead and download Flipboard for Windows 8.1 to read news in the Modern UI.
