Flixster is one of the Metro apps that got updated this morning, so in case you’re already running it on your Windows 8 or 8.1 device, make sure you go to the store to download it right now.

The application, which continues to pack top-notch features to watch movie trailers and get show times, has been improved with patches for playback issues and other general fixes, so it should now run faster and be more stable on both desktops and tablets.

You can still “watch high quality trailers, stream full-length movies from your UltraViolet collection, and create your own ‘Want to See’ list,” the app description published in the Windows Store reads.

In case you are running Windows 8.1 and you haven’t changed the default configuration, the update is automatically delivered to your computer, but you can also download Flixster manually.
