A Bing Maps app is installed by default on all Windows 8 workstations, but many users are actually turning to third-party map services to explore specific locations across the world.

While each has its own pros and cons, Better Maps comes with a great mix of Google Maps, Bing Maps and Nokia Maps right on the Metro interface of your Windows 8 computer.

With a very clean, straightforward interface, Better Maps gives you the option to quickly jump from one service to another with a simple click or tap.

The good news is that it works flawlessly on all Windows 8 versions currently on the market, so you can deploy it not only on x86 and x64 computers, but also on ARM devices running the touch-optimized Windows RT build.
