Microsoft has just released an update version of Fresh Paint, the company's well-known painting app, which brings full support for the newly-launched Windows 8.1 Update.

Other than that, there doesn't seem to be any big changes in this version, but users are anyway recommended to update it as soon as possible, especially if they are running this particular build of Microsoft's operating system.

“Fresh Paint is an easy to use, free app that includes oil, watercolors, pencils, and all the tools you need to paint. Create original masterpieces, turn photos into beautiful paintings, choose a coloring page for your kids, and even make a framed canvas print of your amazing creation. Whether you are an artist, hobbyist, or kid, you can make whatever you imagine with Fresh Paint,” the update app description reads.

The feature lineup remains unchanged and includes options such as watercolors, pencils, lots of brush types, tools to turn photos into paintings, share drawings with friends, and correct mistakes with the eraser tool and undo button.

In addition to Windows 8.1 Update, it also works on the other versions of Microsoft's modern operating system, so go ahead and download Fresh Paint to get full support for the new OS build.
