It addresses issues with pre-rendering disabled at startup

Google has released a new update for the beta channel of Chrome browser. The fresh build, 24.0.1312.14, is currently available for all supported platforms (WindowsMacLinux and Chrome Frame).

The repairs available refer to pre-rendering. In the case of an Incognito window, pre-rendering would be enabled despite the fact that the feature was disabled from the browser’s settings panel.

Another issue eliminated relates to rendering of JavaScript created elements. The entire problem is described here.

On Linux, the most notable repairs address the problem with the <input> selection rendering invisible text (white text on white background) in apps. On the same note, the translate button in the info bar now shows the selected language (more details here).
