The stable version for Chrome 26 was expected to emerge about two weeks from now but Google made a fast move and launched it yesterday. It is available for all supported platforms (WindowsMacLinux and Chrome Frame).

The new revision is equipped with the new spell-check feature that has been available in the beta release.

“Ask Google for Suggestions” feature has been improved and it can now identify grammar mistakes and provide homonym checking. After the update, you can enable the feature so that the browser offers suggestions whenever you spell something wrong in a text box.

Google Chrome 26 allows the creation of desktop shortcuts for multiple user profiles on Windows operating system. On Mac and Linux, the developer added an asynchronous DNS resolver. Security fixes are on the release notes, too.

The dev and beta channels of the browser have been updated as well.
