Google Chrome Beta incremented the build number to version 20.0.1132.11, available for all supported platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome Frame). Although the official announcement informs only of stability and bug fixes, there are some notable changes available.

In the current release, the development team gradually increased the percentage of users benefiting from SPDY/3 and slowly decreased the percentage of browsers using SPDY/2 as well as no SPDY at all. At the moment 95% of the beta users have SPDY/3 enabled, 4% use SPDY/2 and 1% have no SPDY acceleration at all.

Among the bugs that have been done away with in this revision, there is the one for jerky HTML5 video playback on Windows.

On Mac, the team came up with a workaround for a crash that occurred when starting or starting a stream too quickly.
