Security related fixes and repairs concerning some Flash games

Google launched a new stable version for their web browser, available for all supported platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome Frame). It is not a major release and the modifications are mostly security related.

Google Chrome Stable 17.0.963.83 does not show impressive changes, except for those strengthening the protection of the user against malicious attempts. But apart from these, the new revision also brings to the table repairs for some Flash games, which include fixes for hardware acceleration.

In the past week, Google released a new build every day, except for Sunday, but most revisions were for the beta channel of the web browser. In the latest beta, 18.0.1025.129, the development team re-enabled print preview feature.
