Funny concept is labeled as Windows 8.2 Start screen on Google

The Windows 8 Start screen was clearly one of the most controversial features of the modern operating system, so it’s no wonder that so many people made fun of it.

Google has apparently joined the “let’s poke fun at Windows 8 club” with a suggestion that points at the look of a potential Windows 8.2 update which could be unveiled sometime next year.

As you can see in the screenshot above, Google thinks that this funny concept (which by the way mixes the Windows 8 Start screen with the icons used in Windows 98) could actually be the Windows 8.2 Start screen, “guessing” that Microsoft might turn to a more classic look for this particular feature.

Of course, it’s all just an unfortunate suggestion based on the links and pictures displayed on the results page, so expect the search company to fix the suggestions in the coming days.
