Access all the OS settings from just a single place

Just like the previous Windows versions, the new Windows 8.1 Preview comes with a hidden “God Mode” that allows users to access all settings from just a single place.

Of course, “God Mode” is not turned on by default because it provides access to critical settings that could affect the overall performance and stability of the system, so in order to enable it, you have to follow a few simple steps.

Create a new folder on your desktop and write down the following name “God Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}” without the quotes.

Once you hit enter on your keyboard, the default folder icon should resemble the one being used by the built-in Control Panel, so you can simply double-click it to access all available options, including disk management tools, VPN options, and user accounts.
