IM+ is one of the most powerful instant messaging apps currently available in the Windows Store, so support for the newly-launched Windows 8.1 was a must-have.

The developing team knew this very well, so an update released today comes with support for Microsoft’s latest OS version, as well as with several goodies for both desktop and tablet users.

For example, the new version also packs small and big tiles for the Start screen, as well as support for MSN contacts in Skype and the ability to see which of your ICQ contacts are connected on mobile.

In addition, it brings new emoticons and a message queue, while the developing team also guarantees that IM+ now works faster and experiences less crashes than previous builds.
