Today, the free build of the app got the same enhancements, but keep in mind that it continues to display advertisements while using it.
IM+ Free now comes with group chat support, so you can create and join conference rooms, while the new file transfer capability gives you the option to quickly send a file without leaving the Modern UI of your Windows 8 computer.
In addition, the app packs Portuguese localization and a notification box, according to the official release notes published in the Store.
As usual, it works like a charm on all Windows 8 versions, including x86, x64 and ARM builds.
