IZArc received an update to build 4.1.8 that integrates a couple of repairs as well as improvements designed to increase the functionality of the application.

The developer solved the problem with extracting empty files from 7-Zip archives and dealt with an unspecified number of small bugs.

When initiating the procedure for clearing the history, the new revision also removes the records for the data extraction location.

It can also auto extract nested TAR archives from TAR.GZ files and makes available the possibility to run single searches in all types of supported archives, from the “Search in Archives” box.

Additional modifications in this release refer to updating the UnRar library to version 5.0.4 and the translations.

IZArc is a free data-compression utility that boasts wide archive support. You can download it from this page.
