Internet Download Manager continues to be one of the most popular apps of its kind and there's no doubt that the developing team behind the app needs to deliver updates on a regular basis to keep users pleased with the program.

A new version was officially launched today, improving the way it works with Google Chrome and enhancing its very own download engine. Of course, bug fixes and some stability improvements are also part of the new release.

According to the official release notes, Internet Download Manager 6.21 fixes detection of two separate video and audio streams in Chrome browser, so in case you are using Google's app to browse the web and IDM at the same time, no bugs should be experienced anymore.

As it was the case with all previous versions of IDM, the app continues to provide support for basically all Windows editions on the market, starting with the old XP and ending with the new 8.1. Windows XP no longer receives updates from Microsoft, but the majority of devs, including IDM's creator, continue to keep their apps running on this old operating system.

Overall, this new update should come in handy to many out there, so go get Internet Download Manager 6.21 right now to make sure that no bugs exist in your installed version.
