If you're into codec packs, you clearly know that K-Lite is one of the top solutions on the market, as it comes with all the necessary tools one could need in order to easily play multimedia files on their computers.

An update released this morning is supposed to fix any bugs that might exist in the codec pack, so those who are using it right now should make sure that the version they installed is 10.4.7.

No release notes have been provided for K-Lite Codec Pack 10.4.7, but it's safe to assume that in addition to bug fixes and other improvements, it also comes with updates for the built-in modules, which means that the overall performance with some multimedia files could be slightly better after the update.

Of course, the codec pack continues to run smoothly on all Windows versions out there, so if you're still on Windows XP, there's no need to worry. Microsoft might not provide any other updates and security patches for XP, but K-Lite Codec Pack still works on it and will continue to do so for many months from now.

In the end, this is clearly an update that should come in handy to everybody, so download K-Lite Codec Pack 10.4.7 right now to make sure that all bugs are fixed.
