Kaspersky Lab has just released a brand new beta version of its 2014 anti-virus product, thus providing users with a glimpse into future options that could be implemented in its security products.

Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014 14.0.0.4228 Beta is now available for download, bringing several stability and performance improvements, but some users are already reporting a number of issues on the official forums of the company.

While some of the bugs have been spotted on the x64 version of the new anti-virus, others claim that an error occurs when the application starts, so it’s basically impossible to load it on some Windows 7 computers.

What’s more, reports claim that this new beta sometimes blocks registry edits on select workstations, so it’s pretty clear that you should stick to the 2013 stable version for a full-featured security app.
