Although build 2.24 of KeePass integrates a hefty amount of changes, the transition from the previous release should not pose any trouble. The modifications added to the latest revision include increased functionality, overall improvements, and repairs.

The developer announced that KeePass 2.24 can import CSV databases created by Norton Identity Safe 2013, which is also free of charge.

UI responsiveness has been enhanced by computing the password quality estimations in separate threads.

Also new is support for importing tags, which can now be included in printouts.

Among the improvements present in KeePass 2.24 there is the availability of the “Open From URL” dialog in the foreground when attempting global auto-type and the database is locked, with the main application window residing in the system tray.

The list of modifications includes a couple of repairs, too; one of the fixes addresses a crash that would occur under certain conditions.
