The official Kindle app for Windows 8 has recently received a new round of improvements, most of which are supposed to address some previously reported bugs experienced by users.

According to the release notes published in the Windows Store, version 1.1.3.1 fixes a registration issue for customers with multiple Windows 8 devices sharing the same Windows Live account, as well as a bug affecting special characters in the account password.

The app continues to be available with the same great feature package, which includes access to the Kindle Store, bookmark support, Kindle books pinning, and synchronization options across all devices with the installed app.

The Kindle app can be used on all Windows 8 versions currently on the market, including the x86 and the x64 flavors aimed at desktop computers, but also on ARM builds designed for Windows RT tablets.
