LINE is undoubtedly a very popular communication app and, fortunately for Windows 8 users, a dedicated version aimed at this particular platform is also up for grabs.

A new version of this program reached the Store a few minutes ago, bringing several bug fixes that are supposed to contribute to a smoother performance on all Windows 8 builds, be they x86, x64 or ARM.

Just like the previous releases, the new LINE for Windows 8 still comes with a freeware license, so you can install and use it at absolutely no cost.

Keep in mind that before starting using the app on a Windows 8 device, you need to create an account on a smartphone, as this version doesn’t comprise any option to register a new username.
