Even though it’s not exhibiting at the show, Microsoft continues to use the 2013 CES to showcase the goodies of Windows 8, this time with NCIS: Los Angeles star LL Cool J.

A Windows 8 app called Liquid MyConnect Studio allows multiple musicians to work on the same track on the go and edit music in real time with a simple Internet connection.

The app was developed by Boomdizzle, a company co-founded by LL Cool J, and may be released on multiple Windows 8 platforms in the near future, as the actor said that it would allow musicians to collaborate from multiple devices.

The Liquid MyConnect Studio app isn’t yet available in the Store, but the official debut is scheduled to take place later this year. Have a look at the interview with LL Cool J and tell us what you think.
