Line for Windows 8 has just received an update, so consumers who wish to download and install the new version have nothing more to do than to launch the Windows Store and check out the updates section.

While there are no release notes for the new build, it’s very likely to bring several performance and stability improvements, as many users have complained of bugs and issues that occured at random times.

Of course, the app continues to be compatible with all Windows 8 versions, including x86, x64 and ARM builds, so Surface RT users can deploy it too.

Keep in mind that Line for Windows 8 requires an account created on a smartphone, so it doesn’t feature any option to register for a new account without leaving the Modern UI.
