14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft Paint has been around for a while and, even though it's considered quite a basic painting tool and photo editor, it can be used for some really awesome drawings.
Neowin has come across a new YouTube video that shows an artist creating a beautiful painting of Santa Claus in Microsoft Paint exclusively and without using any other retouches with third-party software.
The drawing was made with a Wacom tablet and a Windows 7 laptop and took no less than 9 hours, the artist says.
“Time Lapse Speed Painting of Santa Claus using vintage Microsoft Paint tools, spray paint, classic pencil, and line. This is only the under painting to a full color version of Santa. Unfortunately I was unable to finish the whole thing in time for Christmas. Expect the full version before the new year,” the video description reads.
