The stable release for Maxthon has been updated to a new build (4.0.5.3000) that contains stability and performance repairs and improvements.

The developer added a new feature to the browser, and that is the ability to detect Android devices. The browser will display an installation window or a manual update dialog.

As for the rest of the modifications, this version of Maxthon should show better web page loading speed and improved memory usage. The developer also announced that some of the changes led to better stability of the browser.

There is only one fix listed in the release notes, and it refers to the data synchronization mechanism, which would not work properly when Maxthon Dock would start on the system.

Maxthon Browser is available for download from this link; it is also available in portable form.
