A new beta version for Maxthon Cloud Browser has emerged, featuring mostly repairs but also some optimizations.

Build 4.2.0.2400 of the application introduces support for CSS GPU acceleration and provides HTML5 IndexedDB.

The enhancements available in this revision touch on advanced memory occupation, improved PAC Script implementation, and better URL Query display in the address bar.

Fixes have also been included, for the main frame, WebKit, and IE cores. The developer solved the problem with instability when downloading to a shared path and with multiple tabs being activated at the same time.

Furthermore, the information in the drop-down of the address bar should be displayed properly now, and uploading/downloading files from Mega sharing service should be carried out without glitches.

Relating to IE core, the developer announced that the shortcuts for switching between tabs are now working properly.

This is the beta build, but you can also download the stable version of the application, which is also available in portable form.
