Maxthon 4 has been released today, and it integrates cloud features. This also caused a change in the name, as the browser is now called Maxthon Cloud Browser.

The new features added to the list are Cloud Push, Cloud Tabs and Cloud Download. Push function lets you send text, images, links and tabs to Mac, Android and Windows operating systems. With Cloud Tabs you can synchronize across devices running Android and iOS, thus having the possibility to continue your browsing session on a mobile gadget.

The last cloud function touches on file download. Cloud Download allows downloading data and uploading it to “My Cloud” service for backup on any device.

Apart from this, the developer also added improvements as far as page loading speed is concerned and memory usage optimizations. Looks have also been changed, to fit the new environment created by Microsoft in Windows 8.

Maxthon Browser is available for download from this link; it is also available in portable form.
