Maxthon remains one of the top browsers out there, even though it’s often excluded from the select group that comprises Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Opera.

However, many people are still using Maxhton, and some are running the beta version that provides a glimpse into the future options that could be implemented in the stable build.

This particular beta release has received a new round of improvements today, so in case you’ve already deployed it, make sure you download version 4.1.0.1800 as soon as possible.

The update addresses a startup speed problem reported by users in the previous beta, as well as issues regarding the language display and the “Customize Shortcuts” option in full screen mode.

What’s more, it improves the stability of Webkit core and fixes some problems with the drag and drop support.
