Media Player Classic 1.7.5.38 Beta has just reached the web and is now available for all those running any Windows version out there, including the unsupported Windows XP.

There are no release notes available at this point, but, given the fact that it's only a new beta build, it's probably focused on fixing bugs and performance improvements. Beta builds are obviously aimed at power users who know how to diagnose bugs and send reports to the developing team in order to help improve the app.

On the other hand, a number of bugs and issues could still exist in this beta build, so unless you have the time to deal with bugs, you would better use the stable build.

As mentioned, Media Player Classic 1.7.5.38 Beta continues to be fully compatible with all Windows editions on the market, including Windows XP, which was retired by Microsoft last month, so it no longer receives updates and security patches. Users are still recommended to upgrade to a newer OS version as soon as possible.

Overall, this new beta build is really a good chance to try out the feature lineup of the next stable build, so download Media Player Classic 1.7.5.38 Beta right now to see what it brings new.
