MediaMonkey is one of the best multimedia players for Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system, so the application is currently installed on quite a lot of computers out there.

The program has recently received an update that brings several new options, as well as bug fixes supposed to help it run a bit faster on Windows 8 devices.

The official release notes indicate that MediaMonkey now features the ability to repeat individual tracks and remove deleted files from Library.

In addition, it brings fixes for a bug that stopped the playback when the device went to sleep, but also to address occasional crashes and random errors on first run.

Of course, MediaMonkey for Windows 8 remains free for all, regardless of whether you’re running the desktop or the tablet version of the operating system.
