There are plenty of apps in the Windows Store that allow you to watch YouTube clips without leaving the Modern UI of your Windows 8 computer, but if you’re looking for a truly simple program, you may want to give Metro YouTube a chance.

Just like its name suggests, the app tries to make the most of the Metro Windows 8 UI with an easy-to-use and a clean interface.

It’s completely optimized for the touch, so it can be used not only with a keyboard and a mouse on a desktop computer running the x86 or the x64 version of Windows 8, but also on Windows RT tablets, such as Microsoft’s Surface RT.

It shows all videos in categories, while also displaying related clips in the right side of the screen. In addition, it comes with search charm integration, letting you look for clips using the built-in Windows 8 search option.
