Microsoft has just confirmed a bug that crashes Opera web browsers whenever users attempt to access their SkyDrive account content.
As we reported to you yesterday, SkyDrive users are sent more than 2 million NULL characters, so the Opera browser either hangs or crashes almost instantly.
A Microsoft spokesperson told us that it’s all because of an optimization issue that should be fixed in no time.
While Microsoft doesn’t call it a bug, but an “optimization problem,” users are recommended to access SkyDrive with another browser until the glitch gets fixed. Both Firefox and Internet Explorer work just fine.
“SkyDrive engineers have identified a temporary optimization issue that has prevented customers from viewing SkyDrive on Opera in the past couple days. A fix will be released shortly,” Microsoft told us.
