The Surface with Windows 8 Pro may be a terrific tablet, but there are a few issues that are simply destroying the whole experience.

As we reported recently, the Surface Pro seems to be affected by the same Wi-Fi bug that was spotted on the RT version, so some consumers get limited or no Wi-Fi connectivity at all.

While Microsoft hasn’t said a thing about the bug, the company is expected to release a fix this month, as part of its Patch Tuesday cycle that’s likely to bring fixes for some other bugs.

The company has finally confirmed the bug and revealed that a fix is now under development, so it should be released anytime soon.

“We are aware of the issue with Limited Connectivity on the Surface Pro, and are working to resolve the issue,” Steven_B, a Microsoft forum moderator and a Surface team member, said in a short post.
