Even though the Redmond-based technology giant has already launched the Surface Pro and is now struggling to make more units available in stores, Microsoft is also trying to expand the Surface RT range into new markets.

The company has recently announced that its first tablet in history would go on sale in Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan, without actually providing more information on this highly anticipated launch.

While it only said that the unveiling would take place “in the coming months,” Microsoft says that more details will be provided anytime soon, so stay tuned for release dates in each of these countries.

Despite all these efforts to launch the tablets in new markets, Microsoft doesn’t want to comment on the sales performance of the Surface RT, even though plenty of analysts indicate that initial uptake is extremely low.
