Microsoft has issued a new round of updates for the Surface tablet, trying to address the limited Wi-Fi connectivity bug that has been reported for the past four months or so.

According to some posts on the Microsoft Answers forum, the company has finally managed to fix the issue, so all Surface RT users should now be able to browse the Internet freely via a wireless network connection.

While the company is yet to confirm this, Surface RT owners claim that Wi-Fi connections are back to normal and their tablets establish a connection with no error encountered during the process.

“It looks like my Limited wifi issue has been resolved after the April update. I have been using the Surface RT for a about an hour after the update and the issue didn't come back yet,” one user confirmed.

We’re still waiting for more reports on the matter, so we promise to update the article as soon as we get an official word on this.
