Microsoft has recently announced several price cuts for both the Surface RT and the Pro, as it’s still trying to clear out tablet inventories, but the company revealed even more good news today.

ZDNet is reporting that Microsoft is making all price cuts permanent, so starting August 29, all markets across the world should get the new discounts.

"The customer response to recent Surface pricing and keyboard-cover promotions has been exciting to see, and we are proud to begin rollout of Surface Pro, Touch Cover and Surface RT bundles at even more affordable prices starting August 29," a company spokesperson was quoted as saying.

Basically, a Surface Pro will be $100 (€75) cheaper, which means that the entry-level model will be priced at $799 (€605). Touch Covers come with a discount of $40 (€30), so each keyboard now costs only $79 (€59), while Surface RT bundles start at $399 (€300).
